This is the best cleanser I have ever used. For combination and dehydrated skin it is the perfect product, doesn't dry the skin and doesn't make it shiny. Comfortable feeling - all day.

I have really quite problematic, oily/combination/dehydrated skin with frequent breakouts. This cleanser works very well - my skin feels very clean and fresh after using it. The shine is kept at bay for a couple of hours or so - but then again, my skin is VERY shine prone so others might experience much longer shine-free period - and it still doesn't dry my skin.
The fact that it doesn't need rinsing makes life much easier especially on holiday or when on the road! :-)

Q
"Will this reduce the visibility of my pores without drying my skin ? Should I use it on my nose more than once a week ? (See products in Column E) "

Florence

R
Only the SkinCeuticals Equalizing Toner will help reduce the visibility of pores. None of the products should dry out your skin and all can be used all over the face.

The CC Cream has a universal tone that blends naturally into fair to medium skin.

Q
"Should I squeeze my blackheads? "

Florence

R
I would not recommend to squeeze your blackheads. Blackheads contain bacteria beneathe the skin surface and squeezing can lead to this spreading and also make them more inflamed. It could also lead to scarring.

Q
"I have Rosacea/redness or bumps/irritation on my cheeks, can you help? "

Pauline 48 years

R
As you are experiencing irritation I would recommend to consult with your GP prior to using any of our products. They will be able to establish what the most suitable products are for you. Our Rosaliac range is specifically designed to help with rosacea symptoms.

Q
"I have oily/combination skin, in which order should I apply my skincare products? "

Victoria

R
You should follow a normal skincare routine and just ensure your products are suitable for your skintype. It is essential to cleanse, tone and moisturise. If using an exfoliator, this should be done 1-3 times a week and used after cleansing and before toning.

"I've got some brown spots as I used to live in a hot country and I've got combination skin. Can it helps me? And if it can, can I use it during the day, in a sunny day? Thanks. Lia"

Lia

R
You may wish to consider the Blemish + Age Defense as it is formulated to help with imperfections and can be used both day and night. Alternatively, you may also wish to consider the Advanced Pigment Corrector which can also be used both day and night and will help with the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. As another option, if you were thinking about a serum; I would suggest having a look at the Phloretin CF which is specifically formulated for combination skin and skin prone to dark spots. However, this can only be used during the day. And finally, it may be worthwhile having a look at our excellent sun screen range for high protection if you are out in the sun often, to prevent further dark spots. I hope this helps!

Q
"What size bottles are in the anti blemish set?"

Roz

R
Hi there! In the anti blemish set, the Effaclar Purifing Foaming Cleansing Gel is 125ml, the Effaclar Clarifying Toner is 200ml and the Effaclar Duo [+] is 40ml. Please do let me know if you have any further questions or queries and I’ll be happy to help.
