Q
"How can I take care of my sensitive skin during winter? "

Melanie 31 years

R
For sensitive skin I would recommend to ensure that you are moisturising daily with a rich moisturiser to keep the skin hydrated. I would also recommend to use a night cream daily and a masque 1-3 times a week to hold in the moisture.

Q
"Should I squeeze my blackheads? "

Florence

R
I would not recommend to squeeze your blackheads. Blackheads contain bacteria beneathe the skin surface and squeezing can lead to this spreading and also make them more inflamed. It could also lead to scarring.

Q
"I have Rosacea/redness or bumps/irritation on my cheeks, can you help? "

Pauline 48 years

R
As you are experiencing irritation I would recommend to consult with your GP prior to using any of our products. They will be able to establish what the most suitable products are for you. Our Rosaliac range is specifically designed to help with rosacea symptoms.

Q
"I have oily/combination skin, in which order should I apply my skincare products? "

Victoria

R
You should follow a normal skincare routine and just ensure your products are suitable for your skintype. It is essential to cleanse, tone and moisturise. If using an exfoliator, this should be done 1-3 times a week and used after cleansing and before toning.

Q
"Would the Rosaliac CC cream work for my porcelain / light ivory skin colour, or will it be too dark?"

Elena 25 years

R
Hi there! As you can appreciate, it can be difficult to recommend a shade when we cannot see your skin! Due to different products having different formulas, we cannot recommend a direct like for like shade. However, as the Rosaliac CC Cream comes in a universal shade, I would recommend visiting a larger Boots of which we supply testers to so you can try this particular product on and see which shade would suit you best. Please find below a store locator for you to find your nearest stockist: http://ow.ly/10F9j4. Please do let me know if you have any further questions or queries and I’ll be happy to help.

Q
"I've got some brown spots as I used to live in a hot country and I've got combination skin. Can it helps me? And if it can, can I use it during the day, in a sunny day? Thanks. Lia"

Lia

R
You may wish to consider the Blemish + Age Defense as it is formulated to help with imperfections and can be used both day and night. Alternatively, you may also wish to consider the Advanced Pigment Corrector which can also be used both day and night and will help with the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. As another option, if you were thinking about a serum; I would suggest having a look at the Phloretin CF which is specifically formulated for combination skin and skin prone to dark spots. However, this can only be used during the day. And finally, it may be worthwhile having a look at our excellent sun screen range for high protection if you are out in the sun often, to prevent further dark spots. I hope this helps!

Hi there! In the anti blemish set, the Effaclar Purifing Foaming Cleansing Gel is 125ml, the Effaclar Clarifying Toner is 200ml and the Effaclar Duo [+] is 40ml. Please do let me know if you have any further questions or queries and I’ll be happy to help.
